When to Schedule Your Pool Opening
Typically, as soon as the temperatures start to rise, the sun begins to shine, and the snow starts to melt, swimming pool owners are ready to go for a swim.
But wait–your swimming pool is not ready just yet! A proper swimming pool opening will need to be completed to ensure the necessary safety and health of your swimmers.
We Take Care of the Dirty Work
Opening your pool can also be physically demanding. Pool covers are heavy and can be cumbersome, but a professional team can work together to safely remove and store your cover for the season.
Once you do get the pool cover off, depending on how you closed it and if you dumped the cover you still have to clean it. If leaves end up in your pool, skim the floating leaves and other debris, scoop the leaves that settle to the bottom, and vacuum up fine dust and dirt that’s settled at the bottom.
This can be time-consuming, laborious, and a daunting task to conquer. The Elite Pool will clean off your cover before taking it off and ensure nothing lands in your pool.
Happy Swimming Pool Owners - Reviews from Our Customers
"These folks are great to work with. Courteous, considerate, and very quick to respond to your needs. Very polite and respectful of your property. They put in a beautiful pool for our daughter's family and we stopped by frequently to see the progress. Based on my observation and seeing the final project, I would highly recommend this company for any pool needs you might have including designing, installation, and maintenance. Really good people with great ethics."

Getting Inground Pools Ready for Summertime Fun
What month should you open your pool? You should open your pool when the temperature is consistently above 70 degrees during the day.
This helps prevent algae from growing, keeps pollen from collecting in the water, and doesn't cost much more than opening later in the spring.

Inspect Pool Equipment
During our pool opening, we always professionally check your pool equipment. We make sure your pool pump, filter, heater, and other equipment are in good working order.
Safe, Clean Water for Swimming Pools
We make sure your pool water is balanced. If the pH is above 7, your swimming pool water is basic; if it's below 7 the water is acid. The optimum pH for pool water is 7.4 since this is the same as the pH in human eyes and mucous membranes. A pH of 7.4 also gives good chlorine disinfection.
