Starkey Outdoors offers fully guided fishing trips for spoonbill/paddlefish, lives coping crappie, blue catfish, and striper/hybrids. Based in northeast Oklahoma and fishing multiple area lakes, each guided fishing trip goes out of a newer and safe 24-ft SeaArk Procat boat with state-of-the-art electronics and equipment. Starkey Outdoors also offers duck hunts in December and January and specializes in trophy diver ducks.
Jerry Starkey is the owner and operator of Starkey Outdoors. As a lifelong resident of Oklahoma, He has spent his entire life pursuing fish & game in the great state of Oklahoma. Hunting and fishing are just who he is. He tried to be as honest and dependable as they come. That's why he proudly placed his family name on his business.
After the service, he went to work for American Airlines as an A&P Mechanic in Tulsa, Okla. He spent 20 years turning wrenches for them. The pay and stability were nice but it just wasn't his passion. His passion was the outdoors. In 2013 he took the bold move and left American to become a full-time outdoor guide. A move he has never regretted. He’s so blessed to be able to share his passion and experiences with his friends, family, and the general public.
When you go on a trip with him, please be prepared to talk a lot, joke around some, and have a fun time. Sure, you will catch fish or shoot ducks but guiding is more about entertainment. Be prepared to be entertained.

Jerry also specializes in Livescoping extremely large trophy crappie and dragging baits for large southern walleye in the summertime.
