Whether you stay for a week or a weekend, the 350-acre Meadow Lake Ranch, located just 15 minutes outside of Tulsa, lets you get away without having to go away.
The scenic ranch offers both B&B stays, as well as dude ranch-themed stays, with a variety of lodging options including romantic lakeside log cabins, a family-oriented bluff-top cabin built on the first floor of the original ranch shop and authentic Native American teepees.
The hiking trails offer magnificent scenery, including rolling prairie meadows, spring-fed lakes, limestone bluffs, hardwood forests, and babbling brooks laced with waterfalls.
The romantic lakeside log cabins at Meadow Lake Ranch are perfect for a weekend getaway and feature a plush-top king bed, corner fireplace, two-person whirlpool tub, full kitchen, modern bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. These cabins also feature private lakeside patios with bird feeders and views of local wildlife. Cabins sleep up to four guests.
The ranch's family-oriented bluff-top cabin has a bird's-eye view of three spring-fed private lakes as well as a panoramic view of the Tulsa skyline. It features a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a second bedroom with a twin bed, plus two full-size futons in the living area. There is a full kitchen and private bath, plus a flat-screen TV. This cabin sleeps up to six guests.
Feeling adventurous? It doesn't get any more authentic in the heart of Native America than staying inside an American Indian teepee. While staying in the teepee, guests may use one of the private bathrooms featuring hot showers, a modern toilet, and a sink in the nearby lodge.
Each morning, guests are invited to enjoy a home-cooked, hot country breakfast fit for a cowboy king. After breakfast, a variety of ranch activities are available. Add an activity such as "Dude for a Day," or select from tomahawk throwing, straw calf roping, six-gun pistol shooting, lever-action rifle shooting, archery, fishing, beginner horsemanship classes, or trail riding at a nearby ranch.
The B&B package includes a choice of lodging, breakfast, hiking, horseshoes, and use of hammocks. Ranch activities (listed above) are available for an extra fee. Rates are per cabin and based on double occupancy.
